Educational Workshops: Get your elective CCB Credits at no cost!
Parr Lumber, working in conjunction with the HBA and HBA Pro, facilitated seven elective CCB Continued Education Credit courses during Serving Up Style 2013 at the Fall Home and Garden Show. These courses were designed to assist industry professionals in fulfilling their eight hours of annual elective CCB requirements. We were very pleased to be able to offer these courses to our valued design and building industry professionals. Certificates were issued after the completion of the class.
As an added bonus, we gave away two fantastic factory tours to JELD-WEN, Huntwood Cabinetry, and a business branding package from Molloy Management. The tours included transportation, lodging, and meals. How did you win one of these amazing experiences, you ask? For each and every workshop that attended, attendees were entered into a drawing for a tour of one of these sponsor’s factories. HGTV Design Star, Danielle Colding, hosted the drawing for these tours. The drawing took place after the last workshop on Friday afternoon, October 4, 2013 at 4:30pm. The confirmed factory tours and inventories, thus far, are listed below:
- Huntwood Factory Tour includes: Roundtrip airfare from Portland, OR to Spokane, WA (on a mutually agreed upon date,) transportation to and from the airport, guided Huntwood Factory Tour, literature, lunch, and a sample bag.
- JELD-WEN Bend Plant Tour includes: Roundtrip airfare from Portland, OR to Bend, OR (with a Wednesday or Thursday arrival and a Saturday or Sunday departure,) hotel accommodations, tour, activities (can include golf, fishing, or other,) and all meals. Individuals can alter the agenda. They have the option to stay just the one night and fly home after the tour or stay two or the full three nights. Tours take place from February- September and are offered once a month. Individuals need to sign up in advance for their choice of month.
- Molloy Management: Creating a Luxury Brand
